Peppermint Sweater

Do you guys remember when Lana Del Ray helped us (H&M) with a campaign at the beginning of winter? It was a great campaign and lots of the garments she wore in the shoots sold out within days at our store. However, there are a few items left that have no been added into the sale!
And it's a huge sale too, so if you're out and about and happen to cross us, come inside!

Most items have been discounted and if you're a big fan of sweaters and trousers, you'll definately find something for you! We recently has a trouser campaign so we're not short of them if it's what you're looking for!

SWEATER H&M £29.99 £15.
ACID WASH JEANS £14.99 £7

The Outfit

Keeping to a pastel acid feel, I decided to team this sweater and jeans
with comfy Adidas trainers to tone down the look. What shoes would you team it with?

Middle December

Hey guys :)
So its middle December, nearly Christmas time and for once I'm probably more excited about it than New Year.
I'll admit, I'm abit of a scrooge when it comes to the festive season! Probably because when you work in retail you have ghastly over played Christmas songs thrown at you from November onwards.
So tomorrow I have a shoot with Edwin Firminger. I'll share them with you tomorrow night!
Trying to blog on a phone is hellish. I'd like to link you to his site but it won't let me! But yeah, excuse the layout and I'll be back tomorrow! Btw, thanks for all the help and the follows! It's much appreciated!

Manchester Christmas Market

So every year, Mancheter host a magical German Christmas Market in the city center for everyone to enjoy. You can find stalls full of german food, swedish and italian, clothes from Nepal and France, coffee with anything from amaretto to rum in and of course lovely butterbeer in the german beer huts.

It seriously is the best cultural and festive Chirstmas experience you can find in North West England.
Open for one month untill Christmas Eve.
You can even find Afflex in this years Xmas Market which can be found in the town hall.

Whilst you are visiting, why not stop by at the John Rylands Library.
They are celebrating 50 years of Clockwork Orange and if you're a fan of the film/book then you must go!
It has original scripts, aswell as unforgettable props in the film!
It also has a brilliant gem from the past; What the Dickens.
This includes an insight to dickens and also some handwritten personal letters from the man himself.
It won't be there for long so make sure you go get involved!

( sorry about the terrible quality of the photographs!)

A very recognisable and famous prop from the film ' Clockwork Orange'.

Part of the original script from the film. Scribblings from the director.

Apart from this, the library itself is a magical building with so many beautiful gallaries that are open to the public. It's gothic feel takes you right back to the olden days and it's breath taking architecture will leave you gawping. It's absolutely beautiful.

Such a lovely day in Manchester!

Just before Summer

Thought I'd share with you some shots that Edd Firminger did of me in the early summer.
We do a few every now and then together and it's always a great experience.
If you want to check him out you can find him here:

I'm no longer blonde. Tbh when I look back at this set, it kinda makes me miss it.
But alas, I am a brunette through and through.
I never felt quiet myself with blonde locks.
I suppose it's in every girls nature to experiment with hair and it was just clear I was a dark'n.
At least I got a nice set before I got rid!

I have more sets to upload and you can find more on Ed's site!
Enjoy!

Garnier BB Miracle Skin Perfector

Ok, so I've been looking for a while for something that will sort my face out.. Haven't we all?
Now, television, magazines and every beauty editor has been going on about BB Creams.
Which one is the best, does it work and what not?
Well, tbh, I'm skint. And this is the only one I can afford. Just under £8, I've had it for a few days and I thought I'd share what I think.
Which tbh, isn't alot because it does exactly what it says on the tin.

When buying, I was told to use it as a primer.
Adding before you add your make up apparently is the best thing.
I'm not sure what everyone else has been told.
I have wars with freckles and tired eyes. And I lose, ALL the time.
I noticed Garnier doesn't exactly cover up everything you'd like but it's not claiming to be a radical new foundation. It does however, make your skin feel GORGEOUS and gives it a lovely glow.

I thought I'd share with you something that they included on the box.
When companies spout about testing with real customers and coming up with some percentage that you're supposed to go 'ohhhh, that's good!'. Well, Garnier have kind of done it in the ' BB Cream for dummies' kind of root. Which I enjoy. Gladly.
And although 63 subjects isn't alot to be testing something thats worldwide, I think it's a good result and something great to share with a consumer. Let's face it, it was enough for me to buy it.
Plus I don't know 63 people. So if Garnier do, it must be good.

This BB Cream was voted 4th in Vogues best BB Creams.
You can read that here:

Galaxy Sweater from She Inside

Love Love LOVE.
First purchase made from She Inside and it's quickly becoming my new obsession.
Regardless of the fact that they are based all the way over in America, everyone who is over the pond with me, you'll be glad to hear it's free postage! Which is truly a godsend when it comes to long distance delivery. It also tackles that annoying little issue with converting dollars into pounds so there is no confusing maths involved. Ahem.
Not a strong point.
But yes. I'm a short arse so ordering a size too big might have been a slight mistake as it's very easy to make me look podgy. I need to get out of that habbit and start ordering things to fit and not to be baggy.

Anyway, GET THIS SWEATER. Warm, awesome and erm, awesome!

Orange candle!

Had a shot at making a candle out
of an orange today. How exciting is my life, seriously?
Honestly though, its a nice little trick and
it looks so cute when its done.

First, peel into two halves, keeping the stem
attached to one. This acts like a natural wick.
Add some olive oil to the base
and soak the 'wick' for a few moments.

Cut a hole onto the top peel so that when you light the candle, the flame has somewhere to go.
Light with a lighter, put top peel back on top and there you go!

A lovely Orange candle that looks and smells awesome!
( I was so good at this that I didn't even use a proper candle!...ahem)
Little tip. False nails probably isn't a great shout.
